Our Work / Electric Last-Mile

Bringing the MovR to North American last-mile delivery.

Silver Eagle brought RYTLE’s modular electric cargo platform to the North American market — and put it in front of the couriers rethinking how parcels move the final mile through dense cities.

The need

Dense-route delivery runs on different physics than long haul. Stops come close together, distances between them are short, and idle time burns fuel that a diesel route never earns back. Couriers facing an e-commerce boom needed something built for that reality rather than a truck adapted to it.

What we did

We took on the MovR — a modular electric cargo platform with swap-body containers — for the North American market. Load a box, route it, swap it, route again. We handled integration and support out of the same Portland plant that builds our converter dollies and military equipment, and showed it at Roadmap, the country’s leading electric and smart-mobility conference, held here in Portland.

Where it went

Purolator, Canada’s courier, built the MovR into its last-mile strategy for a new $330 million, 60-acre super hub in Toronto — a facility meant to triple the capacity of its national network. It was a serious operator betting on the same idea: that the last mile of a parcel’s trip deserves purpose-built equipment.

Where it stands

Silver Eagle no longer carries the RYTLE line, and the MovR is not a product we sell or support today. We keep the story here because it is an honest picture of how we work: when a good idea needs a manufacturer who can integrate, support, and stand behind it, we are willing to take it on.
