Why Silver Eagle
The fifth-wheel geometry Judy drew in 1938, Huck-bolted frames, and an 11-stage E-coat. It’s why a Silver Eagle looks the same in year ten as it did in year one.
We engineer the failure modes out before we ever cut steel — so the equipment asks less of your shop and spends its life working, not waiting on parts.
Fleets start from a dolly that already works, tuned to their exact run — drawbar, hitch, track, and all. Programs start from a requirement, and we engineer to it.
The biggest parcel and food-service fleets in the country run our dollies, and the U.S. military and defense primes field our builds. Whatever you run, that’s the standard it’s built to.

Spec it in minutes
Tell us who you haul for and we’ll pull up the exact build your fleet runs — drawbar, hitch height, axle track, valve logic — then tune it to you. Not a fleet? Bring us the requirement instead.
Who trusts us
One of UPS’s only sole-source suppliers, for decades · mil-spec for the U.S. Army · launch platforms for ScanEagle

ISO 9001:2015 Certified
Quality management for defense, aerospace & commercial applications
Beyond the Catalog
Drone launch platforms for Insitu's ScanEagle, deployable shelters for the Air Force, crane trailers for the defense primes. When a program or a fleet needs something that doesn't exist yet, our engineers design it and our floor builds it. Bring us the problem that doesn't fit a catalog — that's the work this floor was built for.
Reliability, our way
Our products are like our relationships — they last longer and ask less of you, because we solve the hard part before it ever becomes your problem.
Reliability isn’t a word here. It’s how we do business.

From Concept to Steel
Family-owned since 1933. When you bring an idea to Silver Eagle, your project becomes our project.
Design and production share one building. A drawing change reaches the weld bay the same day.
AWS-certified welders. CARC and MIL-spec coating lines run in-house, not farmed out.
Converter dollies and trailers specced for the fleets that run them hardest — commercial and military.
For the life of the equipment
A Silver Eagle is built to run for decades, so we support it for decades — even the old numbers still work. Parts, manuals, and a real person at the counter who can pick up right where you left off.
How we deliver · Under one roof
We do it all under one roof — cut, weld, coat, assemble. Nothing gets farmed out, so the tolerances our defense and commercial customers count on hold up on every single run.
Precision Cutting & Machining

6KW Mitsubishi Flying Optic CO2 Laser
Cuts clean through 1.25" steel and holds the line on the intricate stuff. The Mitsubishi laser handles the fine geometry; twin Okuma 3-axis mills and our CNC routers pick up the rest.

Floor Highlights
From raw steel to finished, coated assemblies - everything happens here. No outsourcing. No delays. Complete control.

Certified Fabrication
Plus a fully automated robotic welding cell with a dual trunnion positioner. Our welders are certified all the way up to AWS D17.1 — the aerospace standard.

Military-Grade Finishing
A blast booth and an automated E-Coat line seal the steel inside and out — including the cavities a spray gun never reaches. Finished off in four dedicated heated paint booths.

E-Coat Finishing
Our in-house E-Coat line lays down even, mil-spec corrosion protection — right into the tight spots and recesses spray paint just can't reach.

Final Assembly
Where it all comes together — complex mechanical systems and your own supplied parts, put together and checked to ISO 9001:2015 at every step.
